The world needs actions for the environment. We take those actions every day together with our customers, because public transport is always a sustainable choice.

For us, sustainability means a public transport service that customers choose again and again, instead of private cars. However, that is not enough for us; we want to do more.

We renew our fleet and use modern solutions and technology to reduce our carbon footprint. Our company is a pioneer of electric bus traffic in Finland. Currently, we have 85 electric buses in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area, and their number will double by the end of 2023. Electric buses do not produce any emissions in traffic, and they are charged with renewable energy.

In addition, our drivers have more than 60 electric passenger cars at their disposal, which they use at the start and end of their shifts and when taking a break.

We also replace millions of litres of fuel in our diesel buses with biodiesel made from waste material every year.

We aim to reduce our CO2 emissions by almost 30% by 2025.

Our goal is to be 27% more energy efficient by 2025.

In 2021, we replaced 6,500,000 litres of fossil diesel with biodiesel made from 100% waste material.
